Egyptian Wheat is a tall growing (7–10 ft.) member of the sorghum family that will reseed through mature pods. Egyptian Wheat produces heavy seed heads, is easily adaptable to a wide range of soil conditions, and can handle hot, dry conditions.

Birds and wildlife, including quail, turkeys, dove and ducks love Egyptian Wheat seeds and are attracted to high grain seed heads that provide feed and cover until fall.
