WMS Aeschynomene is a must have for your summer food plot program! Aeschynomene, better known as American Joint Vetch, is a warm season annual legume that is a prolific grower, producing large quantities of high protein forage. This vetch is very browse tolerant once established. American joint vetch is highly preferred by deer making it a great choice for high deer density areas. Aeschynomene will adapt to most sites, but does best in moist soils. Avoid planting in deep sandy soil. American joint vetch is also a moderate re-seeder.
