A mix of many types of gourds on rapid growing vines. The heavy yielding vines produce a wide range of hard shelled inedible gourds in various sizes, shapes, textures and colors of greens, oranges, yellows, whites and browns. Perfect for fall decorations.

• Planting Information:
  When and where to plant: Select sunny location with rich soil and plant outdoors after soil warms. In short season areas, start indoors 3-4 weeks earlier. Cultivate soil and firm over seed, keeping it moist.
  Care: Gourds need very little attention except to keep the plants from overwhelming each other and grow well on trellises or supports.
  Harvesting: Pick fruit carefully, leaving a little stem, when vines and fruits are fully mature. Do not bruise or injure. Wash with non-bleaching disinfectant (i.e., Borax) and spread out or hang for drying in ventilated space. When fully dry, fruit can be waxed, shellacked, lacquered or simply polished with a soft cloth.
  Storage: Store seed in cool, dry place. Heat and moisture can severely reduce germination.
