Vegetable Gardens and Flower Beds
Cultivate area 6-8 inches deep and apply 1.75lbs per 50 square feet of area. Work into soil. For supplemental feeding, apply 1/2 the rate. Water well.

Tomatoes
Apply 2 tablespoons per new plant, or 2lbs per 50 square feet of area. Established plants require 1.25lbs per 20 feet of row.

Trees
Broadcast 3/4lbs per inch of trunk diameter under the drip line. Feed twice a year, early spring and late fall. Water after application.

Shrubs and Ornamentals
Early Spring, apply a light coating at a rate of 3/4 cup to 3 feet of plant height. Keep away from trunk. Water after application.
